SITUATION (how to get there)

Imperial Yacht Club is situated on Zandvlei Lagoon, Lakeside, Cape Town.

From Cape Town, it can be accessed via the Main Road, turning off left over the railway level crossing in Lakeside, before you get to Muizenberg. 

Alternatively, coming into Muizenberg via Prince George Drive or Baden Powell Drive (from Somerset West side), go over the river bridge, then turn right at the first circle. Follow the road along the south side of the lagoon.

CLASSES CATERED FOR

The main classes racing are Lasers and Sonnets for the seniors, and Optimists and Dabchicks for the juniors, although any class of boat is welcome to join in the racing.
